EasyMining at COP26 in Glasgow
In November, EasyMining and Ragn-Sells participated in the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow. At the conference both companies highlighted the benefits of using recycled materials, and transition to a circular economy as key to countering climate change.
17 Oct 2021EasyMining and Ragn-Sells, which EasyMining is part of, participated as part of the Swedish delegation in the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow November 1-12.
During the COP26, thousands of seminaries and workshops were held in parallel to the negotiations in Glasgow. Ragn-Sells and EasyMining took part in various sessions where circular material flows was in focus.
Jan Svärd, CEO of EasyMining, represented the company together with Pär Larshans, Director of Sustainability at Ragn-Sells. The two representatives pointed out a shift to a circular economy as necessary in order to limit global warming. They also offered decision makers and business leaders around the world solutions making it more profitable to use raw materials from waste instead of extracting new ones.
